A householder is as important if not more important than the bread-earner. And it is my strong recommendation that a householder practice yoga. Not only does it help deal with the stress of day to day activities which I personally feel can lead to more stress for householder as there are no holidays or weekends and its a 24x7 responsibility, but we also, we have to be mindful that a householder has to nurture the home and make a house a home, which requires immense amount of compassion, patience, love, emotional presence, awareness and trust. Yoga is not just the practice of asana but its a lifestyle which comprises of all 8 limbs Patanjali spoke about in the Yogasutras. And hence it can help any individual to be happy, content, aware, focused and present in the here and now. I'm sure all people, house-holder or not can benefit from yoga. read less
