Its really a very difficult question to answer without seeing an actual code. Optimising is just about the removal of unnecessary lines of codes and variables and iterations that consume some significant time and memory. It is just about the way you write your code and how you are able to refactor it again and again. There can be a no. of different ways to write a simple logic and when you look at your code again and again, you yourself will realize the areas where you can optimize.
