J2EE is a well structured and scalable solution given by Java. You must first know the Core Java (J2SE - Java Standard Edition) in order to learn J2SE. Moreover But in true sense, advanced java is a deeper knowledge and the advanced features of Java. To do such kind of applications one must build Server end application by using Advance java concepts. It includes Servlets, JSP's, JDBC etc...
