SSC (Staff Selection Commission) conducts exams annually in the name of Combined Graduate Level Examinations for various post like CBI, Tax Commissioner, Inspectors, etc. You should prepare for that examinations to get into CBI. There is no direct recruitment for CID's. If you want to become CID, you should get into police through general recruitment. They will post you in CID seeing your performances and abilities. You should have a strong mental attitude to get into CID. Start reading newspaper and analyse the news in economic session with that of the news in national and international sessions. You could also find some news items in the name of 'news analysis' read it carefully and write down what you understood in your notebook. New analysis is very important for your preparation. My best wishes for the examination and your future prospects. You can also contact me if you want any further clarifications or guidances. read less
