Advice to nail SAT Exam

1) Start Early - The trick is to start your preparation early. Initially spend 30 minutes per day and gradually increase the time.

2) Focus on weaknesses - Obsess over your weak points, rather than spending time on problems they feel comfortable answering.

3) Take practice tests - You must take realistic practice tests instead of practising only old SAT questions. What it means, students do not need to go to a testing centre and take the exam. Instead of going to a testing centre wake up early after a full night's sleep and take the practice exam exactly as you will do on the day of the real test.

4) Take it one concept at a time - Students should review and master a single SAT practice test rather than taking ten practice test without examining them.

5) Get some sleep - Most high-school students are sleep deprived, and it has a dramatic impact on standardised test scores. If students sleep one more hour each night, they'd see their scores rise ~5-10% almost automatically, even without studying.
