Hi,
To answer crisply on DSO vs aDSO
You do not have to execute any conversion for DSOs and all 3 tables work in the same manner. The big difference for aDSO is that the activation process is executed at the HANA level via stored procedure (pushed down) instead of the ABAP layer.
