Hello All, Thank you so much for being there to have almost every question answered. I would to let you guys know of my misery and help me out. I have been working in an IT company for the many years now with absolutely no idea of what domain I am in. Its a normal IT job where I do not perform anything technical. And I think I am not going anywhere with this. Especially when I am almost 32 now. I know its late. Also I am not good at coding and guess I won't be able to learn coding. 'But', I do have some idea about SQL and at times & I think maybe I can try my hands at learning SQL. I also have a deep urge to learn Linux. The reason I mentioned SQL and LINUX is only because I think they wouldn't be too tricky(as much as JAVA, C, or any other programming language). Please let me know if I can go ahead with learning SQL and LINUX and if I do, What all roles can i apply for, in the future. I'd be grateful to you.

You have a beautiful foundation skill set Linux. So make it up to Administrator level and learn AWS to become a solutions architect and about the age, the older the wine, the finer it is, then why not make your career a bottle of champagne rather than thinking that it is rotting day by day. Age is just a number.As long as you are serious, interested and ready to dedicated learning, you can start now and in few years you can be an expert. Since you said you dont have any idea of what you have been doing (dont worry, you are not alone!!) you can start learning SQL & Linux, add Python. These 2 courses and practice for an year can put you on a different level. Further with the proliferation of cloud whatever one learnred in past 20 years is redundant. If you want to be in a race for the future, you should invest time and money now on learning Cloud technologies.All the best!

SQL and Linux are completely different fields. If you are not interested in complex programming, opt for Linux administration pl. Simple SQLs won't do much. You have to please procedure/, pl/SQL kind of stuff to go-ahead.

I'm MBA Proffessional and have 5 years of experience in Finance Domain, now i'm planning to switch my career into IT, for that i'm planning to learn AWS and Devops as per my research in Google. what are the basic requirements/skills to learn these cources and how good is my decision to switch my career from Operations to IT.. I'd like to get some prompt comments here from real time experienced proffessionals.

You should know the basic infrastructure data flow, cloud computing platform before go-ahead for the AWS /DevOps etc. First you need to study Linux to play on this environment
